JOSIE

Josie Madeline Grove 1990-2007

Josie was the most fun loving person and a joy to everyone who knew her. At the age of 14 she was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of AML, (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia)
Josie died in 2007 having courageously fought Cancer for almost 3 years. She won the hearts of thousands through her Strength Courage and Happiness in the face of her impending death and set up a charity to help support other children and teenagers with cancer, designing a dragonfly pendant to help raise funds.

Her calm acceptance, ability to enjoy life to the end and determination to help those she was leaving behind branded her as  "The inspirational Josie Grove" and  "A remarkable person"
She continues to be remembered as...
The girl who was always smiling!

This is the Article that started a Press Frenzy and subsequently led to the birth of Josie's Dragonfly Trust
